It is with extreme sadness that we report the passing of Brother Tim Clayton's son Luke.

Visitation will be Sunday 8-31-14 from 5 til 8 PM at Calera First United Methodist Church. Luke will lie in state Monday 9-1-14 from 1 til 2 PM, funeral service at 2 PM at Calera First United Methodist Church.

Please keep Tim, Paul and Silas, as well as his extended family in your prayers and thoughts during this most difficult time.

After the legislature passed the ethics reform bills in December 2010 it has become necessary to change the way we collect our union dues. We are no longer able to have them deducted directly from our paychecks.

Starting April 2011 you have 3 options for paying your union dues. You may elect to have Local 980 deduct them directly from your checking account, transfer from your Marvel City Credit Union account or pay with cash or check. Paying with cash or check will require 3 months wirth of dues paid in advance.

Members of the E-Board will be visiting all of the stations during the week of March 14 to begin the process of filling out necessary forms, answer questions and provide other information relating to the union.
